Styling photo shoots is one of the best parts of my job. I love getting to be creative and thinking about how I want to wear our new products...hopefully sparking ideas for you!
Shooting in the height of summer for fall is always really fun because summer and fall are my two favorite seasons for fashion and for weather. I had so much fun picking out pieces that I'm wearing a ton right now, but that I'll also wear all fall.
This August, we're bring back the croc-embossed leather that was so popular last spring, but this time we're not just doing black, we're adding espresso too!
Brown is always a great color in the fall, but this season with brown really having a moment, I've loved exploring different color combinations with brown to give it a fresh look.
Here's how I styled our new Espresso Sling Bags. Hopefully it gives you some inspo for giving your wardrobe a "boost" as we transition from summer to fall. ;)
Look 1
I am loving butter yellow right now and it looks so good with brown. I just got a pedicure this color too. :) This pair Mother denim are by far the best pair of white/off-white pants I've ever owned. They are so comfortable and flattering. Sometimes I cuff the hem for a different look depending on the shoes. I plan to wear both of these pieces in the fall with sneakers or boots.

I saw these striped pants and knew I had to try them. I wasn't sure if I was going to keep them, but they are just too comfortable not to! I pulled out my LMND poplin button down that I've had for a couple years - I love navy and brown together. I didn't see navy as an option on the LMND site, but the fit is great - black would be a great choice if this is something you need this season.

If you don't have a really good pair of baggy, light-wash denim, you can't go wrong with these! I wear them all year long.
Red is also having a moment, and I'm here for it - especially with brown. I ordered this Suzi Kondi button down for the shoot. I've been looking for a good red and white striped top all summer, and I really like the sleeve details and size of the stripe on this one. I'd recommend sizing down in this one. My regular size was just a little too oversized for me.

I'm always into a monochrome or tonal look. I'll be wearing these pieces together and separate all summer and fall. This is my first pair of horseshoe denim and I really love this beige color. I am in my regular size, but if you want a more fitted look, size down.

Clearly I have a thing for Donni right now! I am living in these pants - I can't say enough good things about them! And call me crazy, but I'm a black and navy fan, so I loved pairing them with this shrunken cashmere cardigan...loving black, navy, and brown for fall. Just add sneakers or a pair of boots.
