Keeping up with Gipson Dolan's (@thenaplesdiary) summer travels and style has become one of our favorite activities. Lucky for us (and you), she gave us a few highlights and packing tips from all her summer European adventures.
Normally you'll find Gipson styling all her fabulous looks in Naples, Florida, where she lives and works. This summer Gipson spent time in England, Portugal, and Spain.
What are your packing essentials?
My top packing essentials include tan sandals or flats (they go with everything & are easy to pack), white tank top, gold hoops & necklace, fun pair of sunglasses, red lipstick (elevates your look), and a pair of jean shorts. Always my go to outfit when I need to throw on something easy! Never fails! I am not a light packer, so I can’t give any packing tips haha I am still trying to figure that one out.
Give us your top 3 highlights!
Spain - Exploring Madrid was one of my favorite parts of my trip. Walking throughout the city and experiencing the culture was amazing. From the food to the architecture, Madrid is a rich city with lots to see.
England - My husband is from South Yorkshire and we love spending the summers in the country side with his family. England’s weather can be dreary and wet, but when the sun comes out, it changes everything. We love to take walks, eat & drink in the garden, and have BBQs!
Portugal - Portugal is one of my favorite countries to visit. The people are kind, the architecture is beautiful and the food & wine are to die for. Exploring the island of Madeira was fantastic. It’s filled with high cliffs, fishing villages, and lush vegetation.
How you style your Crochet Mini Bucket Bag?
The Crochet Mini Bucket Bag is a great staple in your closet, because it works well with all type of outfits & styles. I love styling it with a flowy sundress and strappy sandals for a hot summers day. But for a cooler evening out, pair it with loose pair of jeans & a striped or graphic tee. Date night out - pair it with a silk black dress and a pair of flats (& maybe a cute sweater over the shoulders). Since it’s a mini bucket bag, it won’t take away from the outfit!
